I just realized that I mailed in my VCCA renewal with a US Postal stamp of a hot rod. Since all hot rods are powered with SBC's, my renewal will probably not be in jeopardy, right?

As long as the sorting machines and postal workers don't want that stamp more than sending it along its journey all should be okay. I know that Harry and the gals don't discriminate against hot rods whether a Chevy engine or not. Waiting for Charlie's comment!!!

A hot rod US postage stamp? I haven't seen one yet. Those idiot who come up with such a postage stamp should be corrected in their thinking. If they are capable of thought at all.

I'm hoping Bob (and his moderators) is aware of this Federal disrespect for the VCCA and it motto of Restoration and Preservation. They should send a registered letter to the Post Master General that we are aware of this slight and are not going to put up with it any more, They should threaten a march on Washington D.C. if those stamps are not pulled right away. I've got my pitchfork ready.

If I used one of those stamps to renew my subscription, it would probably be stamped "Return to Sender." And rightly so.

Let's consider boycotting those offensive stamps. Insist on buying some with Elvis on them. After all he sung a song about "Return to Sender." Did too. He also liked GM products, with no hot rodding of them, too. Only flaw in his choice of rides is that he had a "ride." A Harley Davidson or something like that. I doubt it was rodded. Kid had some high standards. Uh huh!

Dunfire, please toss the rest of them thare hot rod stamps in the trash where they belong and in the future check out what you place on an envelope. If I had any standing in the Club, you'd on probation. If you receive any mail, even a government check, with a hot rod stamp on it, get in your old Chevrolet and take it back to the P.O. and have it stamped RTS. That's what I'm going to do. Even if its my SS check. I'm not above Alpo. Ain't neither!

What is the world coming to? A hot rod stamp? Don't get me started. Mercy!

BTW: As an aside. At this here point in the season, if I hear Bing Crosby sing another Christmas carol, I'm libel to shoot the radio. Seems like every forth carol it is "old droopy eyes." Enough is enough. Bah Humbug!
