I have an early 490 on head under exhaust flange it is stamped V51. It something to do with vin. Nu. Flywheel says H2545. Title says reg in 1914 and licensed in 1914. Top of head says. 8. 17 15. 401. p. No water pump and a 3 dr touring car ,plum in color with black fenders. I also need a hood for it. Barn find in nd had it running in 2 days had always been inside Need ideas on some of this stuff. Thanks Roger

Firstly welcome to Chatter.
It sounds like you have a very early car though I will not pretend to be very knowledgable on the model identification.

From what you've posted it sounds like its a H series Chevrolet.
