I want to replace the wood floor in my 34 Chevy truck with a metal floor. I think that 37-38 Chevy floor pans are within 5/16" of fitting a 34. Has anyone else attempted using 37-38 truck floor pans in a 34? Or does anyone have the interior floor pan dimensions for 34-35 and 37-38 Chevy trucks?
Thanks

You don't think going with the original wood would be and easier fix...? Rather than welding maybe...?

Wood replacement would be a little easier, but I prefer the look of steel floors with reinforcement ribs and the steel will reduce body movement.

Jim Carter Truck Parts may have your answer. They do have steel panels. 800.862.3749

Classic Parts 4 U has metal floor pans with holes precut or solid for custom hole cutting.

Thanks all. I have some more research to do, but think I will end up using some DS Sheetmetal floor pans for my application. Usually Jim Carter Trucks is extremely helpful, but the customer service rep this last time did not provide very insightful information. Fortunately, I was able to locate what I believe will work. (fingers crossed)
