Sorry this was late. I was killing hogs, changing the erl in the 41 coupe or attending my granddaughter's wedding in DC. (pick one. A fellow has to keep his priorities straight.)
Thanks for all the information you have given to us over the years. But ain't always right 'bout everything for 1941s though. That title of 1941 el supremo, chief potentate, and aficionado belongs to me. And, I ain't about to give it up.\
What have you been wrong about for 1941s? Here is a list:
Transmission erl. Your advice on 140 weight is much too heavy.
Speed you can drive at. Way too fast. 65-70 is way too fast.
Use of an erl filter. No point in it.
Use of a radiator reservoir. Ditto.
Air in the tires. Too low.
Shall I continue? I'm reluctant to do so. It would be tantamount to raining on your parade. See?
Gene, all of the above is in jest. I hope you have many more birthdays and that your mind stays clear and active. Do too!

I wonder why I don't reap all the accolades you do when I have a birthday. I can only assume that BB hides them somewhere. Oh, well.
