I am tryinig to find how hood lace attaches to bottom of radiator shell. My grill shell has 1 hole above the two screws and bolts for hood latch. Below that is a small screw and below that is a split rivot. Possible picture would be great. You can also email me at rmelius@venturafoods.

Appricate the help!

Chevrolet was using the lace with the wire running inside it. That wire goes thru very small holes at top and bottom of rad shell.

I also goes the same way on the top of the firewall. You just have to look real close for the holes.

this is for a 1933 Chevy master. I have only one hole at the bottom. On the top of radiator shell i have two holes. I know how that works. Same as cowl. On the bottom i have 1 hole, than 2 holes for bracket, 1 small screw (looks orginal) and than i have a split rivet at very bottom Right were bottom bracket for radiator is. The screw and split rivet look very orginal. Maybe added later? If you want a picture send me your email address. rmelius@venturafoods or rmelius@hotmail.com

the hood lace only is attached with the wire on the bottom per side, and also same with the top, into the hole on the one side. Other side should be the same top and bottom.......if not somebody never drilled or punched them back whenever.

Get right size drill bit and make the hole your missing.
