Hello hello:

I need some help in assembling the hand brake, specifically the swivel plate

I'm referring to the lower end of the emergency brake handle, the part below the floor plate covering the bell housing and transmission.

There is a bolt that allows the brake handle to swivel (upper most on the handle just below the floor plate). This mystery part, I understand some call it the swivel plate, appears to go above this swivel bolt. It looks like there should be a "sandwich" comprising the floor plate, then a rubber/foam piece that would block dirt and debris coming up through into the cabin, and the lowest part is the swivel plate positioned just above the swivel bolt. The 3 pieces are glued together. The brake handle goes up through all three pieces. The only way the swivel plate appears to held in place is glue/adhesive to the rubber/foam layer which is in turn glued to the floor plate.

This is my best guess, none of my photos during dissasembly show this detail.

I need some type of sketch or exploded view of these parts to confirm the correct way to put this together.

Can you help with by description or sketch?

Thanks, Larry [img:center][/img]
