Bought this at the Overby sale but don't know what it is. Can anyone identify it?

Here are 2 pictures. This part was among other "toe" boards for 37 chevs with a rumble seat. It does not look like any of the other 37-38 parts it was grouped with. As most of you know, Ardie Overby was deeply passionate about 1937s, as am I, but I don't recognize it. My only guess is the compartment shelf that goes behind the rear seat.

Since Ardie was into 37/38 and had a 37 Coupe/pickup in inventory, could this be the piece that goes under the pickup box?

Looks like the vertical board that is just behind the seat on a 37-39 sedan delivery. The metal part is the top edge which supports the front of the gas tank cover board and the curved edge in the wood fits the floor contour. I recognize it from a sedan delivery I owned and expect the business coupes used the same piece.

Looking at my 37 4 door sedan, I see no such part, thus I don't have a need to ship it from OR to MN.

IT IS FREE TO ANYONE. PICK IT UP OR HAVE IT SHIPPED FROM THE FILLING STATION.

I'm with Highlighter only it looks very similar to the piece behind the seat of my '38 business coupe. The sedan delivery could have been the same??? Below is that piece in my coupe, driver's side end view on the bottom.

I think you nailed it! Looks like the part to me.

Depending on the age of your parts book, I think it is Group 12.203 and called a Board/Support Assembly, Rear (Luggage) Compartment Lid.

Hope someone can make use of it!
