Doing an Interchangeability Comparison for the 1929-1932 Head & Head Associated Components. Considering my 1929 head is some sort of hybrid being 1929 Head w/ some modern later Components. (Valves, Springs, etc...)
Doing some research on HERE and my 1929-1932 MPL. The Head Itself is basically interchangeable between the years of 1929-1932. More so 1929-1931 with the Rocker & Valve Assemblies, Since Big Changes for the 1932 Head. Looking for a 1929 Head to BUILD with STOCK 1929 Component, but open to other YEAR options IF they are feasible and acceptable to working WITHOUT Modifications. i.e can I use a 1930 Head w/ 1930 Valves & Rocker Assemblies on my 1929. or a 1931 Head w/ 1931 Valves & Rocker Assemblies on my 1929.
VALVES
1929 - Int & Exh Valves have Same Head Dia 1 11/32 (1.344)
1930-1931 - Int Valve Head Dia 1 29/64 (1.453), Exh Valve Head Dia 1 11/32 (1.344)
1932 - Int & Exh Valves Vary in Head Dia (not listed in MPL)
1929-1932 Keys, Springs, Cap, & Guide listed as Interchangeable
Not sure what Collar, Valve Stem Guide 835811 is ?? listed as Interchangeable
VALVE ROCKER ARM
1929-1931 - Arm Assy (Shaft, Bushing, Wicks, Support)
1932 - Arm Assy (Shaft, Bushing, Wicks, Support)
1929-1932 - Adjusting Screw & Nut listed as Interchangeable
1932 did away with Wicks, got new shaft, rocker arms, bushings, supports
VALVE LIFTER
1929-1932 - Lifter, Valve, Push Rod listed as Interchangeable
... ...(Was 2 Piece in 1929)

I'm busy watching the Packers/Bears game in Green Bay tonight. Have to take a break from the car frustrations.
I'll post what I find out about the head and if it works.

The way I understand it you can use a 32 head but you would have to get the 32 push rods cuz they are longer. And you will not have a org. 29 any more.
