Confusion - which colours are the stripes? Red or Blue? on the hood emblem of 46 chev passenger cars. The silver stars will then have the other colour background.
Also - what colour is the Chevrolet name on the lower grille -Red or blue.
Also - what colour are the hood s/steel moulding words stylemaster painted - red or blue?

The back ground on the hood emblem is red in the stripe area which is the right upper and left lower. Is blue in the star area. The Chevrolet letters on the lower grille is Blue. The lettering for the Stylemaster/Fleetmaster on the side of the hood belt moulding is either black or blue. Not sure on that one and can'tfind the correct answer.

I always assumed the belt moulding was black...Well, that seems to be the only color I ever see...

The 1946 model name plate is nothing like your 1947. It is fastened to the front of the belt moulding (which a 1947 does not have) and the lettering is quite small.

Sorry, I don't know why I was thinking of the side hood emblem...
