Morning all,
Do any of you guys have experience using the CD version of the original Chevy's Parts or Shop manuals ? I've always used print versions for anything I've ever owned. Are the CD versions clear and easy to use. I'm okay with computers, but certainly no geek.

I need to order one or the other very soon, probably from the Filling station as
I hope to take possession of a 1932 Chevy Confederate by the end of the month.

I not planning any major work, just general repair, maintenance in my garage. Thanks !

I have never use a CD version as the computer is in the house and not the shop. Guess I could print the subject page (I do often make copies of book pages) to take to the shop. Guess the choice is which is more convenient for you.

I never use a CD for the same reason. I find it faster and easier to use my parts books both in the shop and in the house.

I usually have both. I really like to print out the pages that I need to use in the shop.
It keeps the grease and dirt off of my books.

Thanks.

I'll probably stick to the paper manuals for now. They'll always work if the power goes out this winter.

I have a paper copy & digital copy. i like the paper for highlighting, making notes, etc... but the digital is QUICKER to search and find something unless you KNOW exactly where to look.

I can search for a description or part number FAST in the electronic version.
