Guys and Gals I slide right into my sedan but I have to perform a maneuver, but my Touring car, no way have to enter via the passenger door no options. Looking at the Fatman steering wheels and they look interesting but what about the throttle and advance controls? Did they make a Fatman for 1927 Chevy? Ken

In the back of my stash shed, I have a Spencer Fat Man steering wheel that is mounted on what I believe is an 1920's era Chevy steering column. I'll dig it out, take some pics, and send them to you.
Cheers, Dean

Chevrolet did not make a "fat-man" steering wheel. So, any accessories that include the wheel are aftermarket. The wheel can be used on some 1925 cars and some 1926. Nothing for the 27/28.

I have a friend building a 28 speedster, he has a fat man wheel and just modified it to fit the steering. For him it is the only way he can slide in under the wheel when entering the car. He is not fat just has limited room.

I can slide in my 27 sedan but not the touring. I am not fat or skinny and do not think a skinny person could fit anyway.
