I picked up a 1948 3600 series 3/4 ton pick-up with all the original equipment. It needs a little work, it's been sitting in the weather for 17 years, but has very little rust damage. Does anyone know if this model is worth restoring?

IF you are restoring a car thinking you can make some money DON'T! If you are restoring a car as a labor of love go for it! You rarely make a profit on any car that is PROPERLY restored!

Tom32 is absolutely correct. If you do a correct restoration and a quality restoration on a truck of that vintage you will probably have close to double in the vehicle as compared to what you can sell it for. If you are not concerned about resale value, and want to have a fun hobby, then the truck would make a good project for you. laugh laugh laugh laugh

No one but some one who provides services will make money on a restoration. I'm doing a 48 Fleetline did all the work myself and have over 10K invested so you know I ain't in for a profit!
