My family bought a building back in the 1970's that had been the town's chevy dealership back in the 1920's. A check was found near it for a 1927 Chevy. Trying to identify what they are. Thanks

I'll make the first guess.

They could be "Winter Fronts" to cover the radiator.

They could be the side curtain filler for the area between the front and rear side curtains.

Need to know the type material they are made from.

The part numbers are there on two of the pieces - should be able to track them with those.

Ah, I hadn't taken a close look at it.

And thanks for the guesses, I'll take a closer look at the material.

There is also one that is an inbetween size.

much appreciated

I agree with Ray's comments, however I think Ray's second option is probably right as they look like they are tappered. I had a set something like these on my 27 Chev tourer.

Thanks.

They seem to be made of some kind of coated canvas with felt on the inside. Seems almost like a fake leather to me.

Thanks, Chris.

Is there a good location to look up old part numbers or just a general google search? Thanks

Is there any chance that they are covers for a car's leaf springs? They used to lube the springs (often with used motor oil) and then install covers to keep the lubricant in and the dirt out.......... That might explain the taper.

Spring covers are what they are. oil the felt and place on each side of the spring.

There are three different sizes of them. Any way to tell what model(s) they are?
Thanks

Hi ROF. I sent you a pm. Different sizes are for the different lengths of springs on the front or back halfs of each spring for both the fromt and rear of the car. If you are looking to sell them Id like to buy them.
