It always amazes me to see these videos, to see the assembly line function so well, WAY BEFORE the days of computers.
Look at the proper moulding alignments, look at the consistent gaps surrounding the doors.
Except for a 1995 repaint, my '51 is "Janesville original" and shares those good qualities mentioned. How nice it would be to meet one of those remaining craftsmen, who assembled these vehicles.
These "1950's assembly days" were the days of very intelligent engineers with slide rules, when an "Apple" was a snack, and not a way of life.
Truly, I continue to admire those so very intelligent guys, from 60 plus years ago.
