Hello,
I have been trying to fix a dome light problem on my 47 wagon. And yes, I made things worse. All dash and headlights are out...That's what I call progress. Can you provide some tips to restore previous working dash/headlight? The 30amp fuse on the light switch continues to blow when I reconnect the batt. Where are the other fuses in the system? I appreciate any tips/suggestions. Please note that 30amp fuse on the light switch was out originally while the other lights were working correctly. I'm locking the doors until I get help from you guys. Thank you - Gregg

You have a bare wire shorting out or a hot wire attached to a ground causing a short and blowing the fuse. That fuse controls all the lights.
If it has a radio, heater, fog lights, etc. they will each have an inline fuse.

I wanted to clarify a point, my dash lights and headlights were working even with a blown 30amp fuse on the light switch...Is that possible? Radio works. Have not checked fog & heater.

Are all interior and exterior running lights fused at the headlight switch?

Update - I have lights (dash/head) again. I replaced the light switch 30amp fuse and pushed the dome light harness back in. I guess my pulling the dome harness a bit to get better access to the assembly caused the problem. My dome still does not work but at least I have light now.

Thank you for your help/comments. yay
