Looking for help understanding the routing for a dome light on a 1947 wagon. Exiting the dome, do the wires travel down the middle and enter the under dash area on the drives side? My Dome light has 4 wires - 2 for the switch, 1 for ground (all in one harness) and one separate wire for the dome lamp socket. Where do these wires connect under the dash? Thank you!

I couldn't find wiring diagrams for station wagons because they are not by Fisher body. But here's a link to wiring routing for sedans, etc. Might give you some clues to wagon routing which might be similar. http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/fisher/1946_47/46fisher104.htmGood luck!!!

wiring The "hot" wire comes from the light switch, I think. A least it does in a car.
