Is there a big difference in a 1940 Radiator vs a 1939 Radiator?
Being the one in my car now is a 1940 Olds Radiator...The Olds measure about 28" high x 18" wide and the core 3" thick but at the top tank it is about 4"

I can get a 1940 3 row copper and brass radiator

I'm not looking for Judge points being my shifter was put in the floor..

The 1939 has a filler cap to the side , and a 1940 radiator has a filler cap centred. The 1939 has the hood hinge down the centre of the car, which is why the filler cap is needed to be on the side.

The top hose fitting measures 1 3/8" for 1 1/2" OD hose , and the bottom hose fitting measures 1 1/2" so would need a 1 3/4" OD diameter hose. Don't have my car handy to measure actual hoses , only a 1939 Radiator handy.

That's ok..Thanks for the info...

Wonder why the Parts Book states 1 1/4" and 1 1/2"..I can never believe what I read

Hose diameters are quoted in the 1929 to 1950 parts manual as INSIDE DIAMETERS.

Just to older topics, with the brakes on the rear, I pulled the rear brakes of a 1939 diff the other week, and both emergency brake link rods had the little spring on them.
