Hi-
I recently acquired a 1936 Buick. I am having trouble locating body parts. Specifically for the doors. There is a guy here in Greensboro, NC who is recommended on this site for the wooden components. However, he is unsure if the doors for the Chevrolet and the Buick are compatible.

I appreciate your help.
Thanks!

I am sure the Buick doors are not the same but some of the inner hardware is.
Also is the 1936 Buick a Special, Century, Roadmaster or Limited?

You also might want to check with the Buick club to see if they will be of any help.

Yep.....I think that the Buick club would be your best bet.

Bob's Classic Auto glass may have provided some of the best help yet in cross referencing the car with Chevrolet... at least enough to order replacement glass... :) I do have the old glass as templates so I can match it up and they have a 7 day return policy if the glass does not fit. Enough of an advertisement for them... :)

The meat of this is... in case anybody else asks... The car is a 1936 Buick Special Model 48 Victoria Coupe. The side glass cross matches with the 1936 Chevrolet 36-1001 Master Deluxe or Coach 2 door sedan. I am hopeful that if the glass fits the wood shop can use their template for the Chevrolet to match my side doors... :) crossing fingers.
