I'm installing a new Quiet Ride interior firewall insulation mat on my 1932 coupe.(nice product by the way). When I removed the disentergrating original mat I noticed about a half dozen wiring clips that hold various cables and wires that go through the firewall. They seem to have had a rubberized coating on them at one time.they bolt to the firewall and then you bend them closed around the wire or cable. My question is...Do the flat head screws go in from the firewall side with the bolts on the inside ?Should the clips be rubberized? There are also three cicular wire clips that have nubs you press through small holes in the firewall once the mat is installed. They were on the driver side. Are they correct ?

The round slotted machine screws that hold the firewall insulation mat in place have the heads on the inside of the firewall and the nuts on the engine side of the firewall.

The clips that hold the wiring harness and speedometer cable in place are plain metal painted black.

The later 1932 models used snap clips to hold the firewall insulation mat in place. The earlier models used machine screws and fender washers to attach the firewall insulation mat.

The interior mat that I got from them came with an instruction sheet. You might want to call them and see if they have one and maybe they could email it to you.

I got a instruction sheet but its pretty generic. Not specific for a '32 Chevy.I kinda know how it goes in anyway but was conserned with the clips and screws.Does anyone sell the round wire push in clips ? I have three. How many are there?
