I've noticed over the years of owning my 33 Master Coupe,many manufacturers of reproduction parts seem to skip over 1933.Many are up to 1932 and 1934 and newer.I was wondering if anybody knows why it's like that?

Thats is a common question. I have heard it many times. Actually there are more reproduction parts made today then when I restored my "34 over 40 years ago. ..... But it always seems they are for other years rather than the year of my cars.Probably 1931, 1932 and 1941 have the most reproduction parts available for the pre-war years. They are also the most popular years being restored.

In my case for 1936 and one half; mine are the last half of 1936. That means that the first half and the second half have some differences. That there were fewer cars sold due to the half year thing. Part suppliers will sell fewer parts for these cars. Most suppliers start with 1937 and not 1936 due to this.

First for years the 1935 Master and all 1936's were shuned by restorers. As a result no market for repro parts. 1933 always seemed to get ovetaken with the popular 1932. In general I always thought 1933 and 1934 ran about even. 1935 and 1936 slow and the 1937 and 1938 picked up again.

I haven't checked the production numbers for a long time and can't remember, but were there fewer of them made than '31 /'32?

Not exactly. Reported production: 623901 1931 model year, 323100 1932 model year and 450530 1933 model year for passenger vehicles.
