Somewhere around 73 the novas and camaros got the one piece headliners,I know the F bodies had the perferated vinyl headliner material but did the nova have it too. I just redone a memebers 74 nova that had the more modern cloth material on it when they bought it but after getting it apart I found out someone was in there before me so I am curios on the original material for the next one I redo.

Jeff,was this a Nova or Nova Custom? Was it a coupe, hatchback or 4 dr?

Jeff, you were correct on the year of the one piece headliner. 1973 Novas offered "standard" interior which was vinyl or cloth. If you ordered strato-bucket seats and vinyl interior you got the perforated one piece unit. They were glued in and had a small layer of foam padding under the vinyl and glued to the cardboard. If you ordered standard interior you received a headliner in a vinyl/cloth material with headliner bows. Hatchbacks came with one piece because of the roofline and rear hatch.

If you had a two door coupe with standard cloth interior or vinyl then you got the cloth like headliner with bows. If you have a bench seat you should have a cloth headliner.
