Has anyone had a fit problem with accsessary gravel sheild and the fender skirt.My skirts hit the sheild and don't tighten up well,I can not move the sheild back any further either...any thoughts..chef- chevy

If you are refering to the reproduction gravel shields...it was a major chore to get them to fit on the car I had to bend them until the fit the fender...and my skirts overlap the shields slightly on the rear side...

Fab 40's,yes the repo's are the ones and my problem is the same as you have discribed,whats a little worst is the 48 has a wood kit on it which has caused even more of a missfit.When bending the shield to fit the front of the fender if you create any ripples they become very noticable and an eyesoure,not to mention failure to level the ribs on the shield with the rest of your moulding...I realy thought this instulation would be a snap.....wrong...chef- chevy

Hey Chef, If you think you had a problem you should have seen me trying to keep those frickazeed Hummingbird tougues from falling thru and blowing off the charcoaler grill on an extra windy day here in Texas!

Mr Mack try shoven dem thangs on a real long sewing needle before ya chargrill dos tasty little critters.......beleive it or not in Hawaii they cook a snail about the size of a m&m and use a stick pin to remove the meat from the shell to eat-chef- chevy
