Went to a small gathering today. A young man pulled up in this '31. said it was his grandfather's. Apparently it had a repaint about 50 years ago, sometime in the 60's. He wasn't sure about the rest other than he found dirt UNDER the paint on the frame. I thought you guys would enjoy these few photos.

Didn't give him the website but told him about VCCA. He's a member of ACCCC.

Thanks for posting these wonderful pictures of what appears to me to be a largely original interior. The broadcloth fabric on seats (and interior panels) is identical to that in my '31 Canadian Coach seats (my panels had been replaced with naugahide years ago). I always wanted to confirm seats and panels were same material and this confirms it. I will save photos for use when I redo my interior. I have looked around for this diamond patterned fabric or something very close with no success so far.

Hi Everyone---sweet indeed! I noticed two things that are somewhat different from my "mostly original" 31 Coach. First thing is on this car I see that there are "map storage pockets" of some sort on the interior door panels. Is this factory original or something that was added when interior was refitted? The next thing is that it APPEARS that the spare tire mount actually attaches to the back of the body panel! Mine, which I am fairly certain is original equip. attaches to the gas tank cover.Mine was actually damaged when some fool backed his UPS truck into my driveway and pushed my spare within 1/8" of my rear body panel---the owner of the Filling Station had an orig. one in his garage and sold it to me! Luck of the Irish, huh? Had the mount been anchored to the body it would have been a disaster I'm guessin!!! Jay

I understand '31's came with the "map pocket" as standard. Note it is in same fabric as the door panel and since exact same material is on seats of my '31 Coach it must be original. BTW, my '31 Coach is Canadian built and these models had single color bodies, and not two toned. Is this car Canadian by any chance(see tag on firewall).

I'm now going to answer my own question! Based on the presence of a 2nd brace on the front fenders (see 2 sets of carriage bolts along outer edge), and the "double bead" on fenders, this I believe is a Canadian built car.
