Good afternoon everyone. I left my ignition switch on on my 1940 Master 85 for about 2 hours. When I remembered and checked it, the car would not start and the coil was hot. I left it overnight and got it started with a little difficulty the next morning. (The car is restored and normally starts right up.) It would not restart later in the day. The battery is new and is charged and it is getting fuel. Any thoughts? Thanks. Mike

Would be more common to fry the points and not the coil....check them out first.

I'll look at them. Thanks Gene.
