Anyone know where I can get the correct battery cables for my 48 Sport Coupe? The cloth type and the flat braided ground strap. Also; Is there another metal braided ground strap from the frame to the body?

Try the filling station for your battery ground...You could find a cable for a block to frame ground or crimp one yourself...Don't know if it's necessary...I don't run one...
If your still running a 6 volt system...Again check the filing station or pick up some welding cable(oo) It's something like 17 and 1/2 inch's long...Won't find it at the auto parts store...Just don't settle for 12 volt cable...Not thick enough.

As mentioned above, The Filling Station or Chevs of the 40s both sell original style battery cables.

This company should have the original cloth covered cable and woven ground strap in the correct gauge and color. http://www.riwire.com/
