VCCA Home Forums TECHNICAL - 1945 AND EARLIER 1937-1945 Turn Signal Switch

Hi there,
want to install a Signal Switch in my car. There is one installed but it looks terrible and not classic enough. I have 6V and Break and turn are one Bulb. In Germany it is specified by law, to have a emergency flash. This limits the selection.
I want to by a used one, because a new one fits not to the "used" Interior.
On Ebay i´ve found Signal Stat 800 or 900. 800 looks better for the 1940, but i can´t see a red light for the Hazard flash and that is law in Germany. Any other Ideas?

You might just have to use a new one and then make it look old to match the interior.

where in Germany are you. And chevysofthe40s.com is great. I have bought most of my part there. I was born in Heidelberg and lived in Karlshrue.

@ all - the new one look "cheap" and are plastic, the old one sometimes metall. The older stat 900 have another Hazard Switch than the new one, don´t like this red plastic Knob and the Chrome.
Chevs and filling i know, bought much parts there.
