What type of fastener was used by the factory in assembling inner and outer fenders? By that, I mean the fasteners which were visible, at the top of the inner fenders and along the front upper cowling, when the hood was raised.

Were these clutch-head screws or hex-head? And were they flat black, or another color (maybe body color)?

Any help appreciated.

5/16" hex head bolts. Zinc coated. not painted.
Most of the ones I have seen have head markings that indicate "TR".
