They are fairly common and come up on Ebay lots. Most every swap meet I go too I see at least 2-3. Good Luck!!

Anyone ever bought the number & letter kit from Chev's of the 40'S for the speedo and changed the odometer numbers with it. I did the dial & clock and that sure was not as easy as they say.

I know you are very knowledgeable on these cars and want to ask you if you know what the correct color the gas tank should be as mine is black and at a national show they got me on that. Thank You

Black would be incorrect...aluminum paint would be a better choice but still not 100% correct.

Rich 47 can you strip the paint from you tank or is it a rust issue?If it has bad pitting you may want to replace it and no painting would be needed,it would then be natural
