Does anyone know the correct measurements to drill the locating holes in the front fender on a 1937 Chevrolet to mount the parking lights? These are the long aftermarket reproduction fender parking lights.

Gene sent me a scan of the OEM instructions. I don't know how the aftermarket lights compare. The OEM instructions may not do much good if the fastener holes aren't the same. On mine I lined them up level side to side and forward to aft & made sure they pointed straight ahead instead of following the fender and they came out almost exactly right compared to the OEM instructions. Good luck.

I'd be happy to email you the scan of the original installation instructions. Send me a PM with your email address and I'll email it to you.

Bowtie Bob, are these the same instructions that are sold at Chevsofthe40s? I see they have an installation sheet for $2, but don't know what it contains.

Instructions.

I put a link rather than imbedding a pic so you'll get a larger image for better detail. What I did was remove the top cover, lens and chrome trim. I used a level shown below to get the bottom housing level side to side and forward to aft. I made sure they point forward instead of following the line of the fender which narrows toward the front. What I ended up with matched the instructions almost exactly. In the last pic below you see them lit. I wired mine to come on as driving lights with the low beams.
