As I recall, back on April 20, in a post about "vent windows" Minetto out of Oswego, New York was offering to go down and help Charlie with the convertible and I'm pretty sure Charlie accepted his offer. So, maybe they're too busy to drop-in here right now. Hope it is no more than that. Sure is different with no Steve and now Charlie

It would be nice to have the last comment on here from Charlie saying he's okay and just been too busy working on the cars and driving them to be bothered with writing anything about them. I guess we should all have a list for our NOK to contact when something happens to us, eh... ;-)

Hello Everyone,
I spoke with Charlie today and he's doing fine. He has been absent from the chat site because his computer crashed and has not been able to fix/replace it.
He sounded mildly surprised about our concern for his well being.
(I had visited him last September while I was in N.Carolina visiting my son/family.)

You sure it was actually from him? Maybe his email addy got 'hacked' and spammers are using it in the "reply to" box. That happened to my wife's account a couple of years ago. She ended up having to abandon the account.

Understood. I was stuck on dial-up for a long time being outside of town. I tried satellite for a while then a wireless service became available where I live.

Hi everyone, What has happened to me was that my computer crashed or whatever you would call it when it lost all my passwords (most are the same but not the one here) and I couldn't log back on VCCA. Well, I can by getting a new temporary password ever so often and that's a pain in the a--. I apologize that I caused any concern about my well being. Still, soon (in July) I'll be 80. So you never know. It is nice to have friends and to be thought of. Really. I do appreciate each and every one of you. Progress report on the 41 project: I saw it the other day. It's still there. Same as last time I saw it. No change. Thanks, Charlie
