So all you NHL Hockey fans worldwide (or about to become fans), the Stanley Cup Finals are set (no, it is not named after the Stanley Steamer, but goes back about that far, trophy having been donated by a former Canadian leader, Lord Stanley), with the New York Rangers facing off with the Los Angeles Kings starting Wednesday.

On the trivia side, a Canadian one hit wonder of the 70's named Patsy Gallant sang a chart topping disco song called "From LA to NY", catchy tune I anticipate hearing next two weeks as teams shuttle back and forth between 2 ends of USA. For a while it looked like it may be the "Route 66 Series" as Chicago Black Hawks were eliminated by LA in overtime last nite.

I know, it's baseball season in USA, and Soccer World Cup 2014 next month or two, but for next ten days, please check out the most exciting sport in the world.

Yup, Went to a fight and a hockey game broke out.

I must have been shear boredom that caused people to strap pieces of metal to the bottoms of their shoes, grab a stick and slap a cylindrical shaped wad of rubber around a frozen lake. If that isn't bad enough they convinced the bad skater to stand in front of a cage and have the others see if they could delimb him.

In fact it is an intense game of all out effort. Each player (except for the bad skater) only can stand a few minutes on the ice before they have to take a rest on the bench.

The most exciting sport there is… that and lacrosse.
