I recall the manufacturer recommended 35 lbs pressure. However, if you plan on driving in the 35-40 mph range, I find 28-30 lbs is plenty. For the higher pressure, you need to be sure the tubes and tires are in good condition. Ease of steering is improved the higher the pressure, should be at least 28# or more.

Many of us use 35-40 psig when on tours. Some even 45 psig. Seems to help the car track straighter but gives a bit harder ride. I sure wouldn't go under 30 psig.

Going to add 4 pounds to mine. Was running them at 31 pounds. Tires and tubes are only 5 yrs old.

Checked the tires and only had 28#'s in them. Put in 35#'s and drove pretty nice on a short drive tonight. Fun time a coming.

I wouldn't run tires below 30 or 32 lbs.....running low will cause them to heat and do all kinds of things. I would follow the recommended pressure on the tire or a little more. All you would do being over pressure would wear the center out.
