Hi, Does anyone know the color of the wood that goes in the trunk area. Also since this is a coupe pick up, what color is the wood in the pick up bed area and the metal strips. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Charles S.

On later trucks the wood was black and the strips was the truck color.

While the above may be correct note that the poster does not have a truck but rather a coupe pick-up.

If you Google, "1938 Chevy Coupe/pickup Conversion" theres a great article by Hemmings Motor News that describes the car/truck in great detail..also talks about Tom Meleo, VCCA TA who restored a 37 also gives details about his restoration struggles…article is dated May 11, 2014…Billu38
