I log in to VCCA, say's I'm logged in
Go to VCCA homepage
Go to Chat homepage
go to Mr Goodwrench
Go to Technical
Go to Tech talk

then it ask's me again to log in...over and over which I already did

am I now in Chevy Chatter forum and not the VCCA.org/ forum??

When it asked to register, I already have, the same form, I cked "review profile " and it has all the info in it

am I on the right sreeet but in the wrong city??

help ron1967 rjmc1967@yahoo #0716743

Sorry about the difficulty in viewing "School is in Session". I have given you an additional check mark on your profile. Give it a try and see if it is any easier.

Are you by chance using Internet Explorer? If so that's a know issue with IE for a site using the UBB software that chat uses. Another site I'm a moderator on also uses UBB and has that very same issue. IE has difficulty handling a site that doesn't require you to long on every week (expire the cookie every seven days). I'm not enough of a geek to tell you the exact why that happens but the other site is set to require log in once a year. Those using IE are constantly being logged out by IE and having to re-log in. Usually numerous time per visit. If I remember right Bill has Chat set to once a month which could be part of your problem (if you're using IE). If you ARE using IE try Fire Fox. It's a much more stable browser and wont require you to log in over and over.

I tried firefox some years ago but dont remember any problems. I have been using Google Chrome for several years and rarely have to log in.

I recently had the log in problem and tried all of the suggested remedies from Mr Barker with no luck. Well I had some problems with my coputer and had to take it to the shop. When I got it back all was okay with my log in. Some kind of glitch in the computer. Not the fault of VCCA site at all. talk
