Will a 3/4 ton enclosed Propeller shaft fit a car trans with a enclosed driveline? I seen this and wondered if I could convert my 41 Sedan to an open drive line any feed back would be appreciated..

Why? Anything can be done with enough fabrication. You would need to add a crossmember to support the carrier bearing. Then you would need to change the rear end. You would need to fabricate sold mount spring pads for the rear end. If your trying to get a different gear ratio find a Powerglide rear end.

power glides tork tubes has gotten pricey and would have to get it shipped or of out of town to get. I would also like to change out the rear end with something narrower. I have a car lift , plasma cutter and a 251 mig ,etc. so that kinda fabing isn't any problem. Just looking at another option other than just swapping out the drive train.
