Hi Guys,
Don't have any idea about what year I have but, it is a 10 bolt limited slip from a Camaro I am told.
Right side pumpkin housing has GM 44 on it. Left side pumpkin housing has 1261502 or 1251502 - also same side looks like cast date or whatever K296 or K286 with clock above it, can't see where hand or hands are pointed.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance for your consideration. If I am in wrong year, cuss me out and than correct me please. Would like the approx. year of manufacture. It also has 11" drum brakes on it and oddly enough, the left and right side backing plates where the emergency brakes go through, are on the opposite sides of the axle, as in, one side the entrance hole behind the axle and other side the entrance hole ahead of the axle?????? These are the cable holes I am talking about.
Jim.

11" is Impala. Camaro & Chevelle had 9.5". From the date code you've posted it will probably be a 1967 Impala...Joe

Jim and Joe,
Thank you ever so much for your responses. Helps a bunch.
The axle has had some grinding on it and could not find any numbers there. That's what happens when things are not left stock.
Thanks again.
Jim.
