If you turned the engine over, and the distributor was out, you lost the bearing washer.

I bought a bearing washer and installed it but still nothing on the gauge. when you used the T at the bottom of the line did you have the engine running when you put the drop of oil in? how else can I tell if the motor is getting oil without the gauge working?

Had a similar problem, i removed the pump, placed some fine emery paper on a flat surface and rubbed the housing on the paper in a circular motion until it is perfectly flat then do it to the cap, the vanes wear into the cap and oil slips over the vanes and reduces the pressure. I placed a 2 mil kapton sheet instead of the 17 mil gasket and it worked fine
I got about 10" of flow with the drill and about 5-7 psi when the engine was running

I have some extra parts , reimburse me the shipping and I'll send you a body, cap, vane and spring. rjmc1967@yahoo.com. Or. 303 829 4073 or
Send me a PM Ron
