Where does the bracket go exactly?
Probably inside the fender secured with a fender to body bolt?
Which one?

Not sure what brackets you are talking about, but I have no interior currently so I can get you photos if needed...

BF315, all of your reference files have same set of 20+ pics. I think the bracket/brace he is asking about is o outside of car, within fenderwell, may be the curved 1/8" thick steel brace about 3" long, profile to match that of fender, which goes at topmost inner fender bolt instead of a standard fender washer, and helps prevent fender from sagging and pulling away from welting. I have these on my '31, assume '29 may be same.
