The Janesville Gazette newspaper from their archives, has an article on Dec. 31, 1958, page 26, that reports in 1958 more than 190,000 units were shipped from the Janesville assembly plant. An article on page 26, March 6, 1958, January and February alone, in 1958, production was 38,844 units.
