Does anyone on here know what the modern equivalent to code 267, streamline gray metalic would be? Looking for something with a clear coat over it or will take other advise if available. Checked down below in the body work and paint section and didn't get a good response.

I would contact Auto Color Library. They've been doing modern mixes to old formulas...Joe

I would not go the clear over color paint system even though it is slightly easier to put on. Using the single coat doesnt have the clear coat going opaque or flaking off.

So, Acrylic Enamel or Acrylic Urethane?

I used acrylic enamel on my car 14 years ago and it still shines as well as it did when new. The advise I got after it was painted was not to use wax on it as it only collects dirt and softens the paint. Wash with a good mild cleaner that does not have silicone and if it does fade a little use a hand rub polish. Fourteen years and I still have not had to polish it.

Does anyone have a Canadian colour chart. My coupe has a paint code of 41. It is a dark blue. I can't find any charts online for it.

You may want to try "TCP Global" 858.909.2110 USA Pacific Time M-Fri. 6:30 to 5:00 Technical Support..7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sat and Sun. see:www.tcpglobal.com for Auto Color Library. In there I was very interested to find Color Charts for Polychromatic Finishes that the cars of your year had. These charts are by Ditzler Color Company, located in Detroit, Michigan during your time period. If this is not what you want it might be of interest to look at it on this web site. Good Luck in your hunt for your paint.
