I will need to install a heater that really puts out well as my 29 Sedan will be driven in sub-zero temps. Just checking to see what I have missed in my www search. I am sure that the heater needs to put out 12,000 BTU or more.
I intend on sealing all the air leaks as I am putting the car together.
Thanks,
Dale

You may want to consider insulating all the exterior panels and the roof as well before you put in the headliner, lots of suitable products available I think. I have a heater I took from my '31 Coach which I don't plan to use here in the Maritimes, I'm assuming it is plenty. You don't want something with too high output or it will be very uncomfortable for the passenger.

Insulating the panels etc. is an excellent idea. I believe that there was an article about Steve Kassis 32 in the G&D and it included photos of the insulation he added, though his concern was more for sound insulation. You can contact Steve Kassis thru the Filling Station.

I do plan on insulating before I finish the inside. Still not sure what to use though. I don't like the idea of sticking materials directly to the inside of the sheet metal. I fear that the insulation will trap moisture and cause rust.
I am leaning toward taping foil clad bubble wrap behind the upholstery panels.

Good point. But I would rather have too much heat than not enough.
Fan speed and water flow control will help.
