Looking for any info on repairing and rebuilding front shocks on a 34 1/2 ton . One is froze and the other is real free . Cross section drawing would be great . Thanks.

My Info. shows a 1934 1/2 ton did not come with shocks unless it was a Deluxe model or a panel truck. They came with single acting shocks. Double acting shocks were an option/accessory for all.
The single acting has resistance one way only (lever coming down) and the double had resistance in both directions.

Mine are single action ! My truck came with 4 . I'll get one apart and see what's inside that make's them tick ! Thanks.
