I am going to the All Cal tomorrow and put my '33 on a trailer for the first time. The trailer has ramps not a tilt type. I did't center it the first time so tried to reverse. It would not move. Gave it a lot of power and I herd a wheel spin slightly and could feel the body lifting but not reversing. I jacked up each wheel and they turned freely so not a stuck brake. Is there something in the operation of the transmission that could be causing this? It has always shifted fine. Any help is appreciated. Gene

There have been some discussions regarding brake lock up with the mechanical brakes, mostly 31 and 32's. You may want to do a search on this site, but I will suggest that pulling forward a slight amount has always allowed mine to release. I did find on mine that a couple of the rollers had frozen on the pins and freeing them up along with re-centralizing the brakes cured the lock up problem. If you want to discuss further send me a PM with your phone number and I'll give you a call.

Just curious if my reply was of any help or what you may have found for a problem.
