If anyone has a 37 Master with a beam front axle, I am trying to determine what the front track width is compared with the Master Deluxe. If you could measure across from the middle of each tire as best you can that would be great, if anyone can measure their Master Delux while we're at it here that would be great too! Thanks!

The demension you are refering to is called the tread. It is the distance from the center of one tire to the center of the oposite side tire. In 1937 the Master front tread width was 56 3/8", the Master DeLuxe was 57 1/4".An experianced person can spot the slightly narrower Master tread by the front fender to tire spacing.
The rear tread was 57 9/16" in 1937 and incresaed to 59" in 1938.This allowed the 1938 to have a slightly wider rear seat because the inner wheel housings were moved out accordingly. Also the 1938 rear fender was 3/4" wider to allow for the wider wheel spacing so it buldged out a little more than a 1937.In the later years the 1938 fender was used for replacement on the 1937.

Thanks Gene, the 37 Master Deluxe definitely has a "dog track" look when viewed from the front, but because the front and rear tread widths are nearly identical, it makes me think the body and fenders taper in some in the front vs. the rear.
