I have two different sets of fasteners holding the inner front fender to the outer... Drivers side has rivets, passenger side has bolts w/ square nuts. It's obvious the car was in a wreck at some point and the drivers side took the most damage...I would assume the drivers side fender was replaced or fixed but you know what they say about assumptions!

Being a late '36 with steel doors i'm wondering which is correct... the rivets or bolts?

My 36 coupe PU had one of each same as yours. I assume rivets from the factory.
