I am restoring the vent window glass and frames in a 1941-48 passenger car. While the vent windows are apart, I plan to have them replated, which requires that the vent window assemblies be completely disassembled. The tasks required to remove the vent window glass and vent window rubber gaskets are: 1st the glass must be removed from the chromed frame; 2nd the chromed window frame, and its chromed upper pivot pin and attaching hardware are removed; 3rd the lower pivot pin (which connects the chromed vent window frame to the window regulator) must be removed from the vent window support structure; and 4th the vent window latch must be removed from the chromed frame. These three tasks are accomplished by removing the various rivets which fasten all the parts together. My question is: where can I find the proper rivets for completing these tasks?

Rivets
This is where I bought mine. The hard part is figuring the right length. Then, clinching the suckers down in the glass channels.

2 door?
