Job No 33-567 Body No?? I most have a F, than number(what is this #) Trim No 25 Paint No?? 139 or 146 what is the difference?

139 and 146 are not "paint" numbers. They are combination numbers..In other words which parts are painted certain colors. The Regent Maroon used in both combinations is the same color. The DuPont Duco paint # for Regent Maroon is 24450721.Also one combination could be for an open car or Master VS Standard. I could scan and send you a copy of the paint info but would need your email address.

My educated guess would be paint combination number for a 1933 Master/Eagle closed car would be #139. Reason, it lists the black instrument panel with walnut transfer. #146 mentions only a black instrument panel with no transfer mentioned indicating not a Master combination. If this is incorrect I am sure some one will correct this.

The only thing I see different is paint code 139 has a walnut insert in the dash. I've only seen one Standard with a paint code of 146 but it was a reproduction tag. 151 & 155 are the only codes I've ever found on a Standard. Not to say others didn't exist...I've just never found any. If I had your e-mail I could send you the sheet that has both codes on it....Joe
I guess Gene & I were typing at the same time :)

Duh...since i do not have Orginal Data Plate the only number i have is off title. Which is 2CA07711518. When i break this down I get; 2=Tarrytown CA= Eagle 07= month of production 711518= I thought the rest was production number but this seems to large. Any idea? Or maybe nothing to do with it.

The number does sound "off". My info shows there were 450,530 Eagle and Master series cars made. Each plant would have had its own range of serial numbers from 1001 to final number assembled at that plant. By the way, what is the engine number? If your car was asembled in (7) July it would be a Master and not an Eagle. The Master name started in March. The Master front door vent window/ door glass channel does not roll down with the window and the Eagle does.

In your first post you mention you're missing the data plate but also list all the information from it. Are you missing the serial number plate instead? Also why would a Flint car have a Tarrytown title...Joe

I am missing both. Previous owner disassemblied car and parts became missing. The only number i have is what is on title which is 2CA07711518. I was assuming the body as built else where and assemblied in Tarrytown, NY. So would my body No atart with a "T". I have only seen Data Plates with body number startinig with "F".

Sorry, I did find one on web that starts with "B". So the letter is where car was assemblied at, what is the number after this letter? Was it production number?

Thanks for all the information. Everyone has been very helpful. Chevgene thanks for clearifing the diffrence for Eagle verses Master. I did not know that. Seems like as 1 question gets answered, two follow. I do not have engine serial number with me but i will check on it. I guess without the data plate I will not be able to figure number off assembly line. If anyone has a picture of car painted with Regent Maroon could you please eamil it to me at rmelius@venturafoods.com. Especially if it has color comb. 139.
