I have a 37 chev with 60k miles on it. I've disconnected the driveshaft from the tranny sloped it downward and observed oil leaking out the end which tells me the seal is no good. I've tried wiggling the driveshaft in the bushing and there seems to be no play indicating the bushing is still ok. Is there a seal only kit or do I have to go the whole Okie Bushing route.

It is normal for oil to leak out of the end. This is the oil that lubricates the driveshaft bushings and U joint. If the drive shaft seal is leaking there would be little or no oil and the differential would be overfilled.
The seal is to the rear of the bushings so the bushing area is always getting lubrication.
