Although spelled differently, I had to chuckle last week, while traveling "Gene Snyder Freeway" .... which is also I 265, as in 265 cu. in., outside of Louisville, KY.

I spent 36 years + 2 years of contract work with GM and there is no way my memory will compare with what Gene remembers about Chevrolet.

I 265 (Gene Snyder Freeway) is the "outerbelt' circling Louisville. Had it during daylight hours, I would have snapped pics. Perhaps something available at Google Maps.

Thank You.....I have some pictures also but would take a year to find them.
They had to use Snyder because Schneider would have required a wider sign.
