From March Hemmings page 24. "Five car-hobby predictions for the coming year."

prediction #2 reads,
"70's and 80's cars will become more attractive to hobbyists. As blue chip cars and sports cars continue to climb in value, look for those of us on a budget to continue to turn to cars that weren't previously attractive, such as big domestic sedans from the 1970's and even "disposable" cars from the 80's."

Damn cool prediction, imo.Nice to see the big 70's sedans getting some future love here! Jim

I bought a 77 Impala Station Wagon for a tour car just before the article came out in Hemmings. Glad to know I maybe ahead of the curve this time.

I do not see many nice 70s and 80s cars still on the road these days and there are probably some nice ones hid away,I am still using late 80s for daily drivers and some times its days before I see another one.

My daily driver is a 79 Impala wagon with 52,000 original miles.

Great car, rides nice, comfortable seats, towing hauling, and the best part, NO COMPUTER.

They are out there, you just have to look a little harder.

Jim
